Cyber Security Expert

ZF is an innovation-driven company that develops volume production-ready products based on its own research and development efforts and thus invests in the future in a targeted way. We are currently expanding our R&D teams in Serbia and looking for a new colleagues who will join our team at our new location Novi Sad.

 

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Cyber Security Expert:

 

  • Lead cyber security activities and overall cyber security development in alignment with ISO 21434, UNECE WP.29, ZF Cyber Security Engineering Process (CEP) in coordination with development team.
  • Communicate, coordinate and monitor cybersecurity activities according to the CSWPS and its included RASIC with the project team, customer and supplier.
  • Preparation of threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA) in collaboration with other functional engineers.
  • Support V&V managers and engineers from different departments in security verification tests and its vulnerability management.
  • Organize, support planning and lead preparation of fuzzing and penetration activities in engineering teams.
  • Provides guidance and support to the program team in the development of their work products in compliance with ISO 21434 and UNECE WP.29.
  • Provides guidance to the team in the usage of cyber security processes, templates, and guidelines as stated in CEP and GPEP. Help GPEP process owners in continuous improvement efforts by suggesting constructive feedbacks regarding the processes, templates, and guidelines.
  • Supports communication and exchange of information with the quality engineer.
  • Participate in PPACs on cyber security incidents as appropriate.
  • Interface 3rd party for the cyber security testing of the products according to customer requirements.
  • Periodically report the project cyber security status.

 

 

Your profile as a Cyber Security Expert:

 

  • Successfully completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Vehicle Technologies or a comparable degree
  • Experience in system and cyber security processes in the automotive sector is desired but not obligatory (UNECE W.29, ISO/IEC 15504, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO/IEC 27001,...).
  • Solid knowledge of systems design and software development methodology and its application to overall system design.
  • Strongly required: Experience supporting the development of technical processes, procedures, guidelines, and templates a plus. Documenting progress, conducting analysis and preparing reports documentation templates.
  • Good to have: Background in systems engineering, electrical/electronic hardware engineering, or software engineering in the automotive or aerospace industry.
  • Familiar using a disciplined product development process based on ASPICE.
  • Experience in electrical drive systems in the automotive sector is an advantage. Dealing with complex issues in interdisciplinary teams. Experience with communication protocols, such as FLEX, CAN, I2C, SPI, or UART, is a plus.
  • Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English with excellent verbal communication skills.
