Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)

The production plant in Nove Mesto nad Vahom is focused on production of power steering systems. It currently employs approximately 350 employees.

What you can look forward to as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer?

• Support plants in launching new product manufacturing through development of LLDs, layouts, prototypes, and equipment/tooling specifications in collaboration with quality, maintenance, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead machine qualification at supplier sites and plants, ensuring smooth handover to Manufacturing Engineers and plant teams.
• Prepare customer quote authorizations AMEs based on sales input and core AME data, covering capital, tooling, labor, capacity, timing, launch costs, and mechatronics.
• Collaborate with Central Core teams on DFM/DFA, lessons learned workshops, improvements, and validation of assumptions.
• Conduct risk assessments and industrialization planning for new products and processes, ensuring plant capacity aligns with production demand.
• Participate in equipment supplier selection, track machine builds with Plant Launch Managers, and support GDPEP and OLM gate revisions.
• Assist in manufacturing process handover by testing machines at full capacity and creating process blueprints and flowcharts.
• Support plants in achieving performance KPIs, addressing quality issues, and driving continuous improvements.
• Create Application PFMEA and Manufacturing Process Security Analysis (MPSA) based on core PFMEA and TARA methodologies.
• Support change management and Operations Launch Management (OLM) as lead AME at the plant level.

Your profile as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer:

• University degree – Bachelor, Master, Doctorate
• Technical Specialization
• English – Advanced (C1)
• Mocrosoft Excel, CAD systems – Advanced
• Automotive with Industrialization and Process Engineer background
• Number of years of experience – 4
• Work experience in Automotive with Industrialization and Process Engineer background
• Strong manufacturing background (Lean/Continuous Improvement, PFMEA, MSA, TPM, Core Tools, etc.)
• Communication/networking/leadership skills
• Data-driven decision making

Monthly wage from 2 500 € (including basic wage component *, bonuses and premiums). The salary depends on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
