Mechanical Project Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague in the Technical Services department at our location in Nottingham.

Your tasks: 

• Undertake development of Non-ZF components from concept to transitioning to the manufacturing of the component 
• Working with suppliers to ensure compliance to ZF specifications
• Provide means to identify components for re-use / re-work (potential cost savings) including assessment of risk of premature failure from re-use / re-work 
• Introduce and maintain correct documentation and procedures in the repair and remanufacture of Non-ZF products
• Undertake all Non-ZF Procurement with approved suppliers

Your profile:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering 
• Post graduate experience gained in automotive (heavier driveline) / aerospace / transmission / manufacturing business, ideally in a cost reduction / value engineering role
• Experience in working with CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA) 
• Able to work at and communicate at all levels in the organization, flexible and adaptable, able to travel overseas (European mainly)
• Full Driving Licence
