Sr Technician- Quality

About the team: Team is comprised of Prototype Build, Machine Shop and Ride Development Functions. Quality Lab supports metrology needs for Prototype and Engineering.

What you can look forward to as Sr Technician - Quality: 

• Inspect components, in‑process parts, and finished assemblies for dimensional accuracy according to highlighted prints and customer requirements.
• Implement component quality status indicators and fulfill all customer‑specific inspection standards.
• Report inspection results in standardized formats or customer‑required templates, ensuring GD&T accuracy on all prints.
• Comply with quality policies, group directives, and IATF‑16949 procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train employees in proper inspection methods to ensure consistent and accurate quality practices.
• Support and maintain GageTrak software, manage gage issue/return/calibration schedules, and perform Gage R&R studies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area using 5S practices within the quality laboratory.
• Perform additional duties as required to support overall quality operations.

Your profile as Sr Technician - Quality: 

• 3+ years of related Metrology experience and or training
• Experience with engineering assembly and component drawings
• CMM programming capabilities /Experience in use of GD&T
• Ability/willingness to teach CMM (operation and programming) and related quality measurement equipment, techniques, and applications
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Solid organization and time management skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
