About the Team:
As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will manage complex U.S. and Canadian payroll accounting, tax filings, and reconciliation activities while partnering with HR, Finance, Tax, and Benefits teams to maintain precise and compliant payroll operations.
What you can look forward to as Senior Payroll Analyst:
- Prepare payroll funding, accruals, and journal entries, including Fidelity 401K wires and postings in SAP.
- Perform payroll-related reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and P&L account reconciliations, and resolve variances as needed.
- Prepare and file U.S. and Canadian payroll tax filings, including quarterly and year-end forms (W-2, T4), and maintain payroll tax setup, registrations, and reconciliations using ADP SmartCompliance and PeopleSoft.
- Resolve payroll tax issues and agency notices, support audits and system updates, and collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, and Benefits teams to ensure ongoing payroll tax compliance.
- Coordinate vacation payouts, patent award payments, and various deductions.
- Support audits and internal reviews of payroll operations and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end payroll entries and reports.
Your profile as Senior Payroll Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with USA, Canada Payroll tax and accounting
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft and SAP
- Advanced knowledge in excel and MS office
- CPP certification preferred
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities
