Senior End-Device IT Analyst

Position Summary: The Delivery and Support Senior Analyst leads projects, guides peers, handles service disruption/escalation, administers and supports through daily operational assistance in order to fulfill requirements of internal and external customers worldwide. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft solutions (Windows 10, M365, Office, Teams), concepts, configuration, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient understanding of client hardware, patching, firmware, network protocols, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting advanced audio/visual solutions.
  • Proven ability to deep dive troubleshooting topics.
  • KPI reporting and deep dive & process improvement.
  • Lifecycle management of end-devices.
  • Vendor management of field services and output management.
  • Experience with RFP's and contract negotiations.
  • Lead the North American Delivery & Support team through the global domain function IT projects and day-to-day activities related to life cycle, operational support of standard hardware, software, and infrastructure.
  • Serve as an escalation point and team mentor providing first through third-level support for IT services provided through the Delivery & Support team.
  • Effective ticket documentation detail.
  • Compile and develop documentation to build upon the knowledgebase for IT processes and services supported by the global domain function IT.
  • Hardware and software patch and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Proven ability to expand role into infrastructure support (virtualization, server, network, storage).

 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, technical certification(s), or equivalent IT experience
  • 5 years minimum of experience in the IT field with a strong emphasis in ability to lead technical topics
  • 5 years minimum of experience providing customer support and resolution regarding technical issues
  • Complex knowledge of IT concepts, best practices, and commonly used procedures
  • Proven analytical abilities in addition to strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Proven abilities to diagnose performance degradation
  • Adept at creating documentation and ticket logging
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts, information, and service-related topics with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management

*Ability/willingness to travel up to 20% (both domestic and international)

*Ability/willingness to meet flexible schedule arrangements per customer requirements (i.e. off-shifts, on-call.)

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in the IT field with a strong emphasis in customer service and support
  • ITIL®, A+, Microsoft Associate/Expert or related Information Systems certifications
  • Experience supporting JIT/JIS production facilities
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • German and/or Spanish language skills
