About the Team

The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines. Our Production Planning team within the SCM organization plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule to meet customer demands and delivery targets. As a Production Planner/Scheduler, you will work closely with manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and engineering teams to develop feasible production schedules, manage material availability, and proactively resolve planning-related issues to ensure a stable and reliable production flow.

What you can look forward to as a Planner/Scheduler:

• Developing and maintaining detailed machining production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
• Identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve scheduling accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
• Broad knowledge of commonly used concepts and procedures within supply chain planning. 
• Using SAP or other ERP systems to manage planning data, production orders, and capacity requirements.
• Supporting cross-functional teams (engineering, production, purchasing) to ensure seamless production processes.

Your Profile as Planner/Scheduler: 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a Bachelor's degree (B.A.), or three or more years related working experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and capacity planning in a make-to-order environment.
• Proficient in the use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA), especially in the areas of production planning and material requirements planning (MRP).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage changing demands, and keep schedules aligned with operational goals.
• The expected base compensation for this role is $45,570 - $55,000 annually.  Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
