ZF is looking for a Team Leader/Supervisor - Purchasing for our team in Monterrey.

Job responsibilities:

1. Oversee and lead Bill of Material cost for programs or set of parts within a program; develop cost-saving methods and opportunities to promote overall business unit productivity and supplier competitiveness for defined program

2. Evaluate purchasing operations, assign and check work, maintain and track costs/budget, enforce company policy, complete performance reviews, make staffing and disciplinary decisions with HR, initiate and/or recommend Changes-In-Status, and resolve issues with day-to-day operations and/or customers as required

3. Train, develop and motivate employees, champion individual and team efforts, and aid in the development of purchasing professionals to achieve individual leadership and company goals and objectives

4. Manage methods/materials for total cost management, quality system conformance, and on-time delivery performance; prepare and present subsequent reports and recommendations to senior leadership

5. Manage global supply base and develop cost saving methods and opportunities in order to promote overall business unit productivity and supplier competitiveness

6. Mange multiple series business customer bill of materials, developing and effectively implementing strategy for end of life programs

7. Serve as a primary interface and escalation point for communication and dispute resolutions between suppliers and customer as directed and/or necessary

8. Perform other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• + 7 years working in a similar position
• Experience managing a team
• English Advanced
• Ms office advanced
• SAP
