Responsible for supervising process maintenance personnel. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities and staff involved in the maintenance and modification of process equipment. Obtain bids, negotiates contracts, oversees projects.



•Responsible for overseeing construction and remodeling projects and verifies adherence to specifications

.•Overall leadership for the Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) system.

•Assigns workers to duties such as maintenance, repair or renovation, flex line moves, and obtains bids for additional work from outside contractors.

•Supervises, coaches and motivates a multi-shift process and facilities staff.

•Provides thorough project estimates and makes recommendations on process equipment and facility requirements.

•Ability to track equipment downtime with the systems in place and implement continuous improvement activities to improve machine availability.

•Prepares monthly reports on costs related to preventive, scheduled and/or special maintenance.

•Responsible for maintenance and testing of fire suppression equipment and systems.

•Purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment and furniture.

•Responsible for asset management to include maintaining work orders, equipment moves, cost association, etc..

•Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.

•Assists the Engineering department with developing specifications for new machinery.

•Maintain automated production line equipment to maximize performance and utilization



•Four year degree in an engineering/technical field

•Four years facilities maintenance/construction experience, to include at least 1-2 years previous supervisory experience.

•Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, preferably MP2.

•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

•Strong written and verbal communications skills.

•Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

•Attention to detail and accuracy.•Knowledge of computer aided drafting, facilities design, and maintenance and construction management is preferred.

•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work in accordance with established safety procedures and guidelines

•Capable of reading mechanical CAD drawings with understanding of GD&T drafting principles.

•Interact with and troubleshoot automated actuators, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and numerically controlled assembly cells•

Team leadership skills and the capability to communicate and influence at the plant staff level.

•Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma training preferred.

•Proficient in personal computing software (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, MS Project, MS PowerPoint.).
