Position Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst - Inventory is responsible for optimizing and reducing inventory utilizing consignment and FCA TTOP initiatives and lean principles to perform in-depth analysis of overall regional inventory levels and planning parameters in cooperation with plant requirements.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive consignment and FCA TTOP initiatives throughout North America with plants and commodity purchasing to reduce inventory and increase ITR.
  • Subject Matter Expert regarding North America consignment and FCA TTOP related topics including processes, requirements, and contractual negotiations
  • Develop and manage regional consignment and FCA TTOP initiatives including, trainings, supplier presentations, procedural documents, and negotiation support
  • Lead inventory project teams to drive overall inventory optimization initiatives including in-depth inventory analysis and development of measurements and metrics  
  • Develop and rollout enhanced analytical processes to analyze inventory levels and identify reduction opportunities
  • Lead plant inventory workshops to identify opportunities to optimize inventory utilizing internal KPI’s and reporting systems.
  • Measure and monitor MRP parameters, such as planned transit time vs actual transits and safety stocks to identify opportunities to reduce inventory levels
  • Assist with planning, developing, and implementing departmental policies and goals. Ensure consistency of regional goals and policies with those on corporate and divisional levels.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing, and expanding professional networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in logistics planning / supply chain or related field
  • Working knowledge with SAP and/or other related ERP system.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Solid organization and time/project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • English language skills


Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience with SAP IBP Modules
  • Negotiation experience
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and techniques
  • Experience in the Automotive or manufacturing industry
  • German language skills
