We are looking for a new colleague within the Corporate Materials Management Department - ZF Global Commodity Purchasing - Chemicals – Functional Plastics SCPHF2

Responsibilities:

• Global Commodity Buyer functional plastics and resin for different Part families.
• Collaborate in the management of commodity savings (product family) in all Business.
• Units (BUs) to achieve the objectives set in the budget.
• Leading and participating on assigned Part Family Strategy Teams.
• Driving Global Competitive Sourcing (GSC).
• Lead contact and negotiator for several global suppliers.
• Management of continuous supplier improvement (e.g., business review, general quality, etc.).
• Follow-up of suppliers' business plans.
• Management of supplier nominations and decision making with the BU; Confirm supplier´s capacity, material availability, etc.
• Maintenance of savings / inflation in the Purchasing system (Maps).
• Support operational purchasing tasks (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering or business science with relevant technical background (Master’s degree preferred)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in  the role or similar ones. 
• Experience on the job or within the automotive industry in a comparable position is advantageous
• Good experience and knowledge in SAP and MS Office
• Assertiveness and strong communication skills in handling and negotiating with the suppliers as well as interpersonal and cross-cultural expertise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language as well as Flexibility and high willingness to travel.
