Job Description

ZF's advanced camera solutions provide safety systems such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Following Distance Indication (FDI), Lane Keeping assistance (LKAS) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). These functions are realized with a forward-looking monocular camera mounted at the windshield in the region of the rear-view mirror. This position is responsible for the software engineering processes and development of Camera systems for passenger cars and commercial vehicles within the DAS Business Unit.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Global ADAS software engineering team to implement standardized software development processes in all projects
  • Single point contact for software engineering process related topics
  • Support constructive software quality assurance in projects
  • In charge to assure continuous improvements of established processes
  • In charge to deploy & maintain software process and software quality metrics
  • Support and ensure customer specific software process tailoring with in projects
  • Define, monitor and report software metrics according project requirements
  • Perform periodic review of software with team and ensure the fulfillment of project & customer requirements
  • Participate in software work-product reviews, team meetings & Support ASPICE assessments
  • Ensure software quality processes align with processes of other groups (e.g., systems. hardware).
  • Understand automotive customer requirements, project milestones, technology relevance and capability
  • Process training of project teams and new employees


 Required Qualification/skills/tools/tech


  • More than 3 years of professional experience (preferably as an SW Developer and/or Architect)
  • Experience with coding in C
  • Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and Embedded software
  • Experience in working with global teams and supporting multiple locations
  • Experience in the following areas: Software Configuration management tools, static analysis tools (e.g., QA_C, Polyspace), MISRA and industry accepted embedded coding practices. IBM Rhapsody
  • Knowledge of requirement management tools (DOORS) and issue tracking tools.
  • Very good knowledge of software development processes
  • Knowledge of project management and agile methodologies, automotive embedded software development
  • Experience in dealing with the relevant standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262)
  • English in spoken and written


Preferred Qualification:

  • Certified ASPICE Provisional Assessor is clear advantage
  • Leading/ Experience in defining SW Development Process and ASPICE Assessments
  • ADAS Product knowledge (e.g., ADAS Radar/Camera/Lidar)
