Commodity Buyer for Functional Plastics

We are looking to hire a Commodity Buyer for Functional Plastics to join our team at Monterrey.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate in the management of commodity savings (product family) in all Product Lines (PLs), to achieve the objectives set in the budget.
• Leading and participating on assigned Part Family Strategy Teams
• Driving Global Competitive Sourcing (GSC).
• Lead contact for several global suppliers.
• Negotiation with suppliers.
• Management of continuous supplier improvement (business review, general quality,…).
• Follow-up of suppliers' business plans.
• Confirm supplier´s capacity, material availability.
• Management of supplier nominations and decision making with the PL.
• Maintenance of savings / inflation in the Purchasing system (VIN - CSO)
• Support operational purchasing tasks (purchase orders, invoices, etc,)

Requirements:

• Willing to be part of a creative commodity group.
• Eager to overcome difficult challenges
• English fluid (spoken and written).
• Experience about 2 years in a similar function or at least 3 and 5 years in the automotive sector.
• Financial knowledge
• MS Office skills and user of SAP
