We are looking to hire General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Monterrey:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for GL & FA activities
Create, Calculate and Post journal entries
GL and FA accounts reconciliation
Inter-company account balancing
GL & Fa Accounts analysis
FA Depreciation Calculations
CIP Reconciliation
FA Capitalization process
Month end closings and trial balance submissions to headquarters
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
GL and FA additional projects as required
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.
Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance.

Requirements:

Accounting or Finance Degree
The ideal candidate with 2-4 years GL and FA experience.
70-80% Bilingual English/Spanish
Strong analytical and problem solving
High attention to detail
A proactive approach with a dedication to teamwork
Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
Very Good computer skills using MS Office. Knowledge in SAP/QAD systems will be a plus.
MX and US GAAP knowledge.
Strong Experience in Internal Controls
The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards
