ZF is looking for a Divisional Sr. Supply Chain Process Expert for our location in Monterrey.

 

Job Description - Div. E Senior Supply Chain Process Expert

Responsibilities

1.           Definition of technical concepts for business processes:

-             Development of complex IT/process solutions in cooperation with the specialist departments under assessment and consideration of the responsible specialist area and interfaces of work (cross-module, cross-divisional or global)

-             Creation of technical concepts, in accordance with the specifications of the DPO (Divisional Process Owner), if necessary, GPO (Global Process Owner) and the manager

-             Deriving requirements from the (business) process strategy, examining the existing and required framework conditions, considering the direct and indirect customer requirements

-             Develop and evaluate implementation proposals for the adaptation or redesign of processes

-             Model processes, i.e., design, clarify and agree on process contents/steps and interfaces, clarify responsibilities

-             Determine resources (material, personnel requirements) for new processes and identify potential for improvement, optimize processes accordingly

              

2.           Implementation of processes in work and IT processes

-             After approval of the new process by DPO, development of the specifications from the technical concept for implementation in cooperation with IT

-             Map defined processes in detailed work and IT processes, including advanced modeling (flowchart)

-             Coordinate changed or new framework conditions with IT and the departments and coordinate their implementation

-             Execution and acceptance of system tests

-             Define user roles and authorizations

-             Carry out tests, as well as go-live tests (UAT) in productive systems

-             Plan and execute rollout

-             Create process documentation, elaborate content of process reviews, define process report

              

3.           Follow-up and monitoring of processes and procedures

-             Document procedures and functions

-             Evaluate change requests (demands, tickets) requested by the plant and implement them (under aspects of profitability and scalability)

 

4.           Project management

-             Management of projects or project teams, i.e., create project planning (timeline; deadlines, costs, resources)

-             Participation in the selection of possible suppliers (consultants, service providers)

-             Carry out project controlling (costs, deadline, work progress)

-             Create project documentation and perform project presentation

-             development of user and authorization concepts

-             carry out specific evaluations/reports – according to individual request

              

5.           General tasks

  • contribute to the ongoing optimization of one's own work system
  • Design target SCM ERP processes and define template requirements in alignment with global SCM targets
  • Create process training materials, provide second level Support (know how transfer / improvements)
  • Train and develop plants local process experts on SP1, LP1 and P14 (3 SAP systems in North America)
  • Coordinate and testing of new IT Demand process (FISS/OSS)
  • Define authorization roles, governance and escalation of deviation in processes              
  • Rollout S&OP, IBP and S4 Hana

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, business administration or supply chain
  • 2+ years ERP experience (preferable in supply chain), proven ability to analyze and interpret business needs and systems requirements
  • strong analytical aptitude with a high attention to detail
  • highly proficient in microsoft office tools
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data of business-related processes              
  • Extensive process experience in automotive or industrial business
  • Extensive functional ERP experience incl. the interdependencies between processes and their related modules (ideally experience in SAP modules: MM, PP, SD, WM)
  • Knowledge of specific regional, legal or local process requirements
  • Able to analyze and solve issues with a solution-oriented approach
  • Empathic and cultural open to work with key-users and project members from different countries
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure to reach project goals
  • Willingness to travel to different ZF sites within the region and worldwide
  • Fluent English language skills
