ADAS Software Project Manager

ZF is looking to hire an ADAS Software Project Manager to join our team at our state of the art R&D center located in Monterrey Mexico.


  • Responsible for the technical management and development of basic software for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems 
  • Matrix line manager of the basic software development  
  • Development of core competencies in the area of basic software and support of the global software organization 
  • Preparation of two annual plans for the base software, considering the projects and advance development 
  • Budget planning and monitoring for all customer projects that are in the area of responsibility 
  • Ensuring the qualifications of employees though new hires, training, and development plans  
  • Check and ensure quality of engineering deliverables 
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science 
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • 8+ years of experience 
  • Experience in the development and delivery of embedded software development, verification, and automotive electronics 
  • Detailed knowledge of the use and improvement of systems and software development process 
  • Knowledge of software configuration and requirements management, change/issue tracking, and verification tools and processes 
  • Experience in the embedded Autosar software development 
  • Experience in management of large global engineering teams 
  • Expertise in the creation of system architectures and the application of development process according to Automotive SPICE 
  • Business fluent in written and verbal English
