ADAS Algorithm Application Engineer

ZF is looking to hire an ADAS Algorithm Application Engineer to join our team at our state of the art R&D center located in Monterrey Mexico.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test and deliver algorithm component based on customer requirements
  • Elicit and negotiate customer requirements
  • Derive system requirements from customer requirements and software requirements from system requirements
  • Provide algorithm planning support
  • Provide support to test department for the design of test cases
  • Provide algorithm integration support for software department and (vehicle) test department
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requiremens:

  • Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Maths, Physics, Computer Science or related subjects
  • 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Experience in requirements management
  • Experience in model based development (Simulink, Targetlink preferred)
  • Experience with software test tools such as QAC, Cantata, Polyspace, TPT, etc. 
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering
  • Strong communication skills
  • Business fluent written and spoken English
  • Background in computer vision
  • Experience with requirements database tool DOORS
  • Python, C, and DXL coding skills
  • Experience with CARSIM, Carmaker, or similar simulation environment
  • Experience with software architecture and design tools such as Rhapsody
  • Experience with Automotive Functional Safety concepts and its implications to Software and Algorithm development
