ZF is looking to hire an Service MES Expert to join our team at our state of the Global IT Center Americas
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for supporting of MES systems, participating in projects related to deploy applications and interconnecting production lines;
• Support Tier 2 problems/incidents for Strategic MES / SCADA Applications;
• Change and Release Management responsibility MES applications
• Works close with PLC and Controls Teams to implement MES/SCADA Systems
• Provide Global MES/SCADA Tier 2 production on time support and ticket resolution within agreed SLAs;
• Provide support and guidance to Tier 1 support team including diagnosing troubleshooting and resolving any MES Issues.
• Interact closely with IT Launch, Service teams and Business during Strategic/Tolerated MES implementations.
• Troubleshooting and setup on communication using message brokers;
• Analyses and approval of releases and changes as required by Functional or Build Team
• Gather, analyze, document, and implement changes/enhancements/solutions in conjunction with business departments such as planning, production, quality, logistics and maintenance;
• Serve as a member for on-call rotation for your platform, and be willing to work flexible with other colleagues in the supporting area;
• Collaborate with internal and external IT professionals on technical issues and developments;
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar technically related field;
• Professional experience in MES/SCADA, Queue Management and Applications scripting; Desirable SCADA strong knowledge
• At least 3 years of experience in a IT Integrated manufacturing environment (MES, SCADA, IIoT, etc)
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and external partners;
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• English Fluent.
