What you can look forward as Plant Quality Control Manager:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the plant's quality management system (QMS) in alignment with corporate quality policies.
- Ensure all quality control procedures are documented and adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement effective solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies to drive process improvements.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the quality control team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Prepare for and lead internal and external quality audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Oversee and coordinate quality control testing and inspection processes, including raw material, in-process, and final product inspections.
- Analyze test data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure the accuracy and calibration of testing equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to plant management and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and address quality-related concerns.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution through effective problem-solving and communication.
Your profile as Plant Quality Control Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a quality control department.
- Excellent communication skill in Japanese and English (both written and oral)
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
