• Develop, implement, and maintain the plant's quality management system (QMS) in alignment with corporate quality policies.
• Ensure all quality control procedures are documented and adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement effective solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies to drive process improvements.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the quality control team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the plant.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
• Prepare for and lead internal and external quality audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Oversee and coordinate quality control testing and inspection processes, including raw material, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Analyze test data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure the accuracy and calibration of testing equipment.
• Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to plant management and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and address quality-related concerns.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution through effective problem-solving and communication.

Your profile as Plant Quality Control Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a quality control department.
• Excellent communication skill in Japanese and English (both written and oral)
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
