Sr. Customer Service Rep - Non-Tech

Seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative to join ZF Aviation in Miramar, FL. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service relating to sales, sales promotions, and communications.
  • Ensures that good customer relations are maintained, and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with the consumer laws.
  • Assists with development of organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers.
  • Develops improvement plans in response to customer input and complaints.
  • Respond to national and international customer inquiries in German and English language.
  • Consult with customers about recommendations and solutions that meet their needs or refer them to a Specialist in another department.
  • Grant price adjustments for claims based upon BU IV policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate schedules with specialist department or other departments.
  • Handle complaints to ensure adherence to complaint handling policies and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed documents to generate offers and orders for customers.
  • Process customer orders and create invoices for purchases.
  • Monitors due dates on invoices for customers and makes necessary extensions to the due dates based upon schedule variances.
  • Offer customer solutions in regards to meeting functional deadlines by handling and documenting those solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with warranty procedures and process warranties according to the guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with three or more years of related experience; or seven or more years of progressive customer service experience in the aviation industry.
  • Must be proficient in the German language (verbal and written communication).
  • The individual must be familiar with business operating systems, ex. Navision, SAP.
  • Must be versatile with Windows based software with intermediate level experience in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, be capable of multi-tasking and be an innovative self-starter who can work well under pressure.
  • Excellent written, communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills and the ability to build cooperation among the work group and intra-departmentally is essential.

 

Preferred Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in the Aviation industry
