Divisional Compliance Coordinator

We are looking for qualified compliance experts to join the ZF Corporate Compliance team as a Divisional Compliance Manager to support the implementation of the ZF Group Compliance Management System (CMS) at ZF Divisions.   This position has global responsibilities and works closely with Divisional compliance officers, legal, and business personnel. The location of the position is flexible with an expectation that the position would be located at one of our key ZF locations.

 

Your tasks:

  • Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the ZF global CMS and its implementation within the Division and the modification / adaption to Divisional needs
  • Perform risk assessments with a focus on compliance risk within the Division
  • Support and conduct CMS Audits
  • Drive and support the evaluation, mitigation, and treatment of compliance risks
  • Create and present risk reports and support implementation of identified measures
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of identified compliance risks
  • Work independently, in a team of compliance professionals, and with internal stakeholders on the evaluation, monitoring and mitigation of Business Partner risks and the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a global Business Partner Due Diligence program for the Division
  • Support ZF’s Compliance Business Partner Checks program
  • Design and implement a compliance training program based on (risk based) needs assessment within your Division
  • Interface with functional groups inside and outside the compliance organization to ensure the training program – content and methods – meet legal and company objectives
  • Create and conduct compliance trainings worldwide (both face to face and web-based)
  • Support the design and implementation of a formal compliance communication strategy that includes creation and roll out of compliance content
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to align on and develop content ideas and communication campaigns to strengthen the company compliance tone and culture
  • Collaborate with Policy Management to support the process of implementation of ZF Group wide policies within the Division
  • Support Compliance investigation needs within the Division (incl. data gathering, coordination, interviews, etc.) as well as coordination of results and corrective measures.
  • Support other compliance projects, and initiatives as needed. 

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, legal or comparable
  • Min. 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management and/or audit with a strong focus on risks and controls and risk-based auditing techniques preferred, either in a global industrial company or a major accounting or law firm
  • Strong methodical approach, analytical and process-oriented thinking, critical judgment and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German is considered an asset
  • Ability to travel up to 30%. 
  • Excellent presentation, communication and social skills
  • Ability to perform with autonomy, proactive mindset and assertiveness
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • High grade of accuracy and discretion/confidentiality
  • Experience in an international environment preferred
