We are looking for Quality Engineer at our Mesa Facility.
Job description
- Leads root-cause problem solving
- Responsible for overall quality of shipped product to customer for specific manufacturing lines.
- Contributes to and leads special projects as assigned.
- Manages and reviews system documenation to verify accuracy and relevance, and leads efforts to implement changes when needed.
- Ability to analyze problems, make recommendations, prioritize and manage tasks.
- Supervises and coordinates correlation of change control for manufacturing documentation.
- Communicates and documents discrepancies and follows up and verifies corrective actions.
- Develops quality control plans, performs root-cause problem solving and creates engineering test reports.
- Develops quality control and quality management systems.
Experience with the following preferred:
- Customer and supplier interface
- Root cause and corrective action analysis/implementation: 8D, 5-Why, fishbone cause and effect diagrams, Pareto, Green Belt (DMAIC process)

Approval Methodology: Automotive Part Process Approval Process (PPAP)

Validation Methodology: Automotive Process/Product Validation Process (PV), test plans, final reports

Product / Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Control Plans, and process flow diagrams

Mistake proofing, process verification, sampling frequency/methodology

Gage/test Evaluation: Measurement System Analysis, Gage R&R

Statistics basic & advanced: linear regression, frequency/probability plots, process capability/analysis (sigma, CPK, PPK, CP), control charts, T Test, F test, design of experiments, chi-square

Statistical software such as Minitab
Required Education
- 0-2+ years of related experience (internships included)
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering
- CQE certification
