General Summary: Under immediate supervision and from detailed verbal and written instructions, assists with conducting routine and non-routine testing of airbag inflators and related components.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: For Ballistic area:
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Able to operate PC based programs. Must be able to pass Hazardous Materials Training class. Excellent attention to detail.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED Some College towards technical degree preferred and/or* 0-1 years related experience within a test environment operating and troubleshooting hazardous fluid/gas/propellant or electronic systems.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to repeatedly push, pull and lift 40 lbs. From floor to above shoulders. Must attend and pass respirator certification tests and hazardous materials certifications. ZF Mesa Operations screening process includes a substance abuse screening test which includes a 10 panel substance abuse screening testing for THC, ATF lifetime background check, and verification of eligibility for employment.
