Material Handler

The responsibilities listed here entails basic functions for the position and here in is not limited to:

• Receive Direct and Indirect materials and provide them to the assembly lines
• Move materials using forklift and hand truck
• Package, Stack, load and unload a wide variety of products and materials
• Identify damaged and non-conforming shipments
• Operate electrically powered industrial equipment (forklift)
• Perform daily inventory counts
• Prepare shipment to customers
• Notify customers with daily shipment quantities
• Perform Quality Audits on outgoing material
• Assist with manufacturing needs if needed
• Load and Unload Trailers as need be
• Responsible for 5S cleaning and complying with safety regulations

• Stand for extended periods of time
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 40 lbs, and correctly lift up to 75 lbs
• Occasionally to frequently bend, twist and squat

• Perform fast-paced repetitive use of both right and left hands, including light-grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and carrying

• Material Handling requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses and steel toe shoes
• Ability to tolerate moderate to loud noise, below 80 DBA (hearing protection not required)   
• Ability to perform in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Quality
• Engineering

• High School Diploma/ GED

• Experience working in a team-oriented environment
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Fork truck experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office System
