About the Team: The Spare Parts Intern at ZF’s Marysville, MI plant will join a cross functional team focused on supporting Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory management processes critical to plant performance. In this role, the intern will assist with daily and weekly tasks that directly support plant goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), while gaining hands on experience working alongside maintenance, production, logistics, finance, and purchasing teams. This position offers broad exposure to plant operations and provides a strong foundation for understanding how inventory management, collaboration, and process discipline contribute to overall business success.

What you can look forward to as a Spare Parts Intern:

• Create and maintain locations for spare parts.
• Conduct cycle counts of MRO inventory.
• Perform audits to verify stock as needed.
• Manage spare parts requests from the maintenance team and submit requisitions in SAP.
• Perform Goods Receipts in SAP and stock “put away” in physical locations. 
• Update team KPIs with data from SAP.
•  Communicate with suppliers and coordinate delivery when needed.
• Attend department meetings.

Your profile as a Spare Parts Intern:

• Training/Education Requirements: High School diploma (or equivalent) required and currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate (within 2 years) required. 
• Strong computer skills required; candidate must be proficient in MS-Office Suite, with proficient understanding of MS Excel in Macros and Formulas.
• Must be self-motivated, with ability to prioritize and accept direction from multiple sources.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
