Maintenance Supervisor (3rd Shift)

About the Team: At ZF Axle Drives LLC in Marysville, Michigan, we are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our night shift team from 10pm-7am. This role involves overseeing a team of approximately 12 direct reports to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our production equipment. The supervisor will coordinate and supervise the work of employees and contractors in maintaining electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, robotic, and automation systems. Our facility manufactures axle drives and supplies Stellantis, making this position crucial for maintaining high standards of production and equipment reliability.

• Supervise and assign the work of union maintenance employees and contractors. Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas. 
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, with 100% compliance to all safety rules and regulations. 
• Determine material, equipment, supplies, and time required to complete tasks.  
• Maintain maintenance employees work hours and input changes into computer system.  
• Coordinate and assist in ordering spare parts for equipment.  
• Prior to delivery, will participate in equipment buyoff with supplier; and during and after new equipment installation, inspects major contract work on the electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and other related systems.  
• Monitor and assign preventative maintenance tasks.  
• Manage employee issues, training, safety, discipline and other concerns. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.  

Your profile as a Maintenance Supervisor:

• High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or journeymen certification in a skilled trade highly preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of the install, inspect, and repair of machining, grinding, heat treating, and assembly automation.
• Knowledge of Fanuc robotic systems. 
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing, automated conveyor systems and other pressure and force systems.  
• Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties. Knowledge of MIOSHA safety requirements. 
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues relating to CNC machines and robotic equipment.
