About the Team: As a team member and individual contributor, in this role you will support manufacturing equipment across three (3) shifts.  A primary function for this role is to act as a first responder to prioritize /troubleshoot/triage/contain production related incidents and attend to work tickets. This role is expected to work one of three shifts as well as occasional overtime, often without advanced notice.  The role creates, updates, and uses systems documentation as well as daily interaction with colleagues, controls engineers, and maintenance persons to minimize production loss.

 

What you can look forward to as an IT Analyst:

  • Act as a Plant IT Support Run Team member and first responder to manufacturing system issues. 
  • Perform run readiness checks following a documented procedure (testing incident protocol, SQL database, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) servers, OLE for Process Control (OPC) servers, connectivity, backups, IPC status, etc.) and take appropriate actions on findings.  
  • Perform root cause analysis, implement containment actions and short-term corrective measures. 
  • Execute asset management procedures, and processes to deploy, track, and quarantine hardware. 
  • Support hardware, software, and configure for plant systems, including serial/lot traceability, among others.
  • Configure and validate hardware (hand scanners, handheld computers, label and office printers, IPCs, etc.).
  • Support the IT Build Team in the setup, administration, troubleshooting, documentation, and maintenance of systems, including Acronis, McAfee Solidcore, VNC, industrial PCs (IPCs), Kepware, automation scripts, etc. 
  • Assist the user base to resolve issues (i.e. office printers, label printers, remote support sessions, hand scanners, handheld computers, conference room hardware, production processes, etc.) 

 

Your profile as an IT Analyst:

  • Associate degree in a technical field of study and 2+ years of related experience; 8+ years of related experience may be considered in lieu of an associate degree. 
  • Demonstrated success solving firewall, network, and permission issues on Microsoft XP, Windows 7, Win10. 
  • Demonstrated ability to configure/deploy equipment, label printers, scanners, handheld computers, etc. 
  • Demonstrated ability to service failed hard drives, re-image ghosted devices, replace failed devices. 
  • Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
  • Must demonstrate good customer service skills in a demanding environment.
