Job Description

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Marshall, IL! This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies

The expected base compensation for this role is $56,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually.  Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

What you can look forward to as a Supply Chain Specialist:

• Run customer-specific bill of material checks
• Compile weekly SMT tracker demand for shortage components
• Compile supplier commitment/shipment updates within tracker
• Understand plant usage and customer run-out dates
• Escalate shortages as needed
• Address carrier delivery issues for inbound/outbound material.
• Compile Customer Tracker info as needed
• Expedite material shortages and provide purchasing support.
• Ensure balance of stock on-hand between plants during shortages
• Understand material flow within plant – SAP locations and transactions
• Continuously review product/processes to identify potential opportunities for improvements within material planning.
• Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your profile as a Supply Chain Specialist:

• Bachelors degree in a related field with a minimum of two years of experience in production/supplier planning and purchasing/supply chain management; or an Associates degree in a related field with a minimum of seven years’ experience in production/supplier planning and purchasing/supply chain management; or a high school diploma with ten years of experience in production/supplier planning and purchasing/supply chain management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables & V-lookup).
• Automotive industry experience.
• Experience using SAP.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• Exceptional data entry skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
