Pallet Repair Technician

  • Apply current trouble shooting skills to track and repair Pallets as primary job function.
  • Perform touch up and repairs on Pallets.
  • Mechanical assembly/disassembly of Pallets as necessary to perform repairs.
  • Assists the Engineering department with developing specifications for new machinery.
  • Independently evaluate and apply basic troubleshooting techniques, procedures, and criteria using sound judgment for continuous product/process improvement.
  • Confer with and assists engineers on problems related to pallet interface to equipment and reliability improvement.
  • Perform analysis of process flow deficiencies for root cause determination.
  • Perform cost justification for machine improvements or repair purchases, receive and stock accurate parts inventory.
  • Perform tasks that involve gathering and interpreting scientific data that supports production, maintenance, and engineering objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

  • Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.

 

  • High School Diploma or GED with 1 years’ experience equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Must be willing and able to learn and utilize basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic soldering skills / Electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Must be capable of documenting (data entry) clear and precise details of repairs performed in a computer based system.
  • Ability to safely use common mechanical & electrical power tools.
