About the Team

The Material Associate plays a critical role in supporting Operations by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of raw materials. Material Associates are responsible for handling a variety of materials, including electrical reels, mechanical housings, and temperature-controlled inventory.

In addition to supplying materials to the production floor, Material Associates manage the movement of inventory from the receiving dock to designated warehouse storage locations, including high-bay racking systems, vertical storage units, and refrigerated storage areas. Maintaining accurate inventory records and executing inventory transactions within SAP are essential responsibilities of this role, ensuring inventory integrity and operational efficiency throughout the Marshall facility.

What you can look forward to as a Material Associate:

  • Interface with customers regarding shipment and delivery information.
  • Deliver raw materials to the manufacturing floor
  • Scan material movements into SAP
  • Stock shelves from bulk skids of materials
  • Maintain appropriate inventory in line-side storage areas
  • Reclaim unused raw materials from the manufacturing floor and return them to warehouse stock.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with and support the health, safety and environmental programs, policies and procedures.

Your Profile as a Material Associate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an active driver’s license
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Good organization skills with the ability to handle many things at once; good record keeping
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Good basic math skills
  • Required to work overtime as scheduled
  • Must have a customer service orientation
  • Previous [barcode] scanning experience
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace
  • Operate tow motor

The expected base compensation for this role is $18.00 - $22.76 hourly.  Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
