Responsibilities:
- Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
- Use of Program Request system for tracking equipment program requests and program revision’s.
- Use Koh Young and Orbotech software to generate & troubleshoot AOI production programs & AOI related support issues.
- Use Nordson and Omron software to generate & troubleshoot X-ray production programs & X-ray related support issues.
- Assists with process and quality issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in and/or champion performance improvement team as required to address machine/process related issues.
- Generate and Provide the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Production Performance Reports
- Integrate and maintain Equipment Networking (server based) solutions
- Assist in the training of Technicians and/or Operators in the theory of operation and maintenance of production equipment and related systems.
- Perform non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
- May innovate new approaches or make recommendations for the improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of technical work for part of a major project or an entire project of moderate scope (project management).
- Compile, organize and present data for the justification of proposals and business decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School education with minimum 10 years’ experience in related field; or Technical AS degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in related field; or technical BS degree with 2 years in related field
- Ability to generate and troubleshoot production programs for AOI and X-Ray equipment.
- Working knowledge of SMT equipment, Screen Printers, Reflow Ovens, & related process’s.
- Ability to generate and or create excel based reports relating to Production performance.
- Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment and make repairs.
- Parts and material procurement.
