About the Team
Responsible for leading efforts within the facility to make process improvements consistent with leaner manufacturing flow. Must be a change agent that can teach and lead others through continuous improvement actions while keeping customer satisfaction in mind. Local authority on ZFPS and lean initiatives.
What you can look forward to as Continuous Improvement & Digitalization Lead:
- Lead and communicate kaizen workshops and other lean activities throughout the plant.
- Support the plant manager in leading the ZFPS, lean initiatives and operational excellence.
- Represents the plant internally and externally regarding ZFPS, lean initiatives and operational excellence.
- Complete high impact/high priority projects that support plant cost reduction efforts.
- Lead cross functional improvement teams to drive significant productivity savings.
- Champion and/or participate in Quality related activities. Including, Corrective Action Reports (CAR), containments, inspections and sorting, 11 Colors and other related efforts to improve and manage quality.
- Industrial Engineering functions including Plant Layout, Output Confirmation, etc.
- Nonconforming Material Management including trend identification, root cause/countermeasure, scrap improvement/FPY.
Your profile as Continuous Improvement & Digitalization Lead:
- BS in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum of six or more years related to lean manufacturing experience.
- Blackbelt preferred.
- Demonstrated problem resolution skills i.e., 8D, 5P, 5-why etc.
- Ability to drive change and influence others.
- Proficient with various software packages, such as MS Office.
- Understand when and how to use various statistical tools.
- Ability to work outside normal core hours to meet company demands.
The expected base compensation for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
