Market Product Manager

About the team:

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for shaping the future of commercial vehicle products in Japan. Our team works cross-functionally with global engineering, sales, and strategy teams to deliver innovative and competitive solutions to our customers.

What you can look forward to as Market Product Manager:

• Develop and manage product strategy, including portfolio and roadmap, pricing, and lifecycle management (Phase-in / Phase-out)
• Drive new product specifications and lead business development initiatives
• Manage customer requirements and propose product optimization or upgrades
• Provide pricing and quotation support, including CQ (Cost Quotation) process alignment
• Conduct commercial vehicle market intelligence and competitive analysis
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across regions and functions to implement strategy
• Support program advancement with a proactive, goal-oriented attitude

Your profile as Market Product Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of product management experience across full program lifecycle in the automotive industry; global program experience is preferred
• Strong skills in product industrialization (OP planning / engineering)
• Excellent communication and logical thinking skills; strong team player with fast learning capability
• High resilience and initiative; able to work under pressure and drive program progress
• Strong cultural competence and ability to collaborate in cross-functional international teams
• Fluent in English and Japanese(oral and written); German language skills are a plus
• PMP certification is a plus
