Job Description

We are looking for a new colleague in the IT Delivery&Support department covering Belgian ZF sites, office location in Lommel.

 

About the Team
The ZF IT Global organization in the Delivery & Support team in Lommel is responsible for assuring high availability and reliability of IT End-Device & Infrastructure Services for ZF locations, by supporting, administering, and implementing desktop, server, and network infrastructure as they relate to hardware, software, Operating Systems, and virtualization for the global domain function IT.
 
What you can look forward to as Technical IT Support Specialist:

  • Second line incident management
  • Support the daily management and troubleshooting (direct & indirect) of the site infrastructure (User end-devices, Server, Network infrastructure, Server room, etc.).
  • Provide IT consultancy services for internal business partners on locally managed applications
  • Coordinate global or local IT projects related to infrastructure hardware and software services
  • Documentation of IT infrastructure solutions
  • Support team peers with knowledge and experience

 
Your Profile as Technical IT Support Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technologies or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience in end-users support and assistance
  • Operational knowledge of MS tools and environment, Network protocol and VMware vCenter
  • Ability to support a Lenovo desktop/laptop environment with an emphasis on customer service
  • Team player who can work autonomously, taking initiatives and adopting changes
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize as well as a strong customer focus
  • Willing to work in an On-Call support cycle when required as well as willing to commute (1-2 days per month) to other ZF sites within Belgium (Brussels) & very occasionally to ZF locations outside Belgium
  • Proficient in Dutch and English, French and German would be a plus
