We are looking for a new colleague in System Engineering department (IWDA5) at our location in Lommel, Witten or Antwerpen.

Your tasks as Strength Assessment Expert (m/f/d):
- Responsible for the strength calculation approaches for cast-iron and steel components in alignment with the material and quality experts of ZF IW.
- Technical lead of all strength assessment related tasks within the technology department
- Development of new strength assessment approaches with focus on cast iron
- Participation on external forums, idea screening and reviewing calculation reports.
Your profile as Strength Assessment Expert(m/f/d):
- Master ‘s Degree Continuum Mechanics, Mechanical or Materials Engineering with focus on static and fatigue strength assessment approaches, especially for casting materials
- Professional Experience in area, PhD preferred
- Very good knowledge on probabilistic safety concepts
- Member of a multi-cultural R&D team with interaction to suppliers, research partners and customers
- Teamplayer, Open-minded, creative and communicative
- Fluent English (Dutch and German are a plus)
