Laboratory Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in the Quality department at our location in Lommel.

Your tasks (m/f/d):

• Lead the lab in developing and maintaining an excellent sustainable internal customer relationship.  Support and coach in building a cooperative partnership by exceeding customer expectations striving to high customer satisfaction.
• Prioritize all lab requests and validate all lab reports.
• Build and share knowledge and experience internally and externally in order to leverage expertise and performance level.
• Make sure that all ZFIW labs are working according the same instructions. Optimize way of working by close cooperation with other ZFIW plants.
• Ensure a continuous highly motivated workforce that strives to exceed expectations.

Your profile (m/f/d):

• Engineering Degree, preferable in the field of material science.
• Profound knowledge of metallurgy and chemistry.
• Strong leaderships skills, independent, self-initiative and pro-active approach.
• Good communication skills and relationship management, fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
