We are looking for a new colleague in the HSE department at our location in Lommel

ZF Wind Power puts wind energy in motion! The ZF Wind Power Business Unit is part of ZF group which is known as one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers. Within our unit we develop, validate and service gear units used in wind turbines producing sustainable energy and we have been doing this for more than 40 years! Today we build new drivetrain solutions to meet the requirements of the future. As wind turbines continue to grow, we are continuously pushed outside of our engineering boundaries, which makes it a challenging engineering environment to work in.

Your tasks:

Translate the general ZF HSE strategy into a national HSE policy for all ZF sites in Belgium and ensure that the organization is compliant with the current legislation
Supervise HSE projects with the aim of continuously improving the HSE policy and involving all employees
Lead all HSE audits, handle the relevant files, reports, planning and follow-up
Supervise the tasks of external partners, including HSE training, inspections and permits
Analyze work-related accidents and dangerous situations, take appropriate measures with the departments to minimize them

Your profile:

Bachelor degree (technical) combined with certificate ‘Preventieadviseur niveau 1’
+10 years of experience in HSE
Thorough knowledge of Belgian legislation (welfare law, Codex, Arab, Vlarem)
Analytical skills, problem solving & risk management
Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English
