Because ZF Wind Power keeps on growing, we are looking for a Global Trade and Customs Manager (m/f/d) to join our Supply Chain Management team in our headquarters in Lommel.

What you can look forward to Global Trade and Customs Manager (m/f/d):

As a Global Trade and Customs Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and improving our Global trade and Customs processes and tools.  This versatile role offers exposure to both the operational and strategic aspects. 

• Developing and implementing uniform global trade and customs processes that align local practices with national and international regulations.  
• Conducting export control risk analyses focusing on products, technologies, and markets. 
• Identifying changes in trade legislation and advising management on the impact and necessary actions. 
• Optimizing import duties through correct product classification (HS codes) and origin determination.
• Advising on customs rules to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Setting up and managing internal control programs and manage reporting obligations.
• Develop and maintain strong network and relationships with external advisors and relevant authorities.
• Continuously striving for better export control and customs tools, including digitalization to enhance efficiency and compliance. 
• Actively collaborate with other departments (Purchasing, Sales, R&D, Accounting, Legal…) to improve compliance and reduce duties.  
• Conduct internal audits, prepare for external inspections, and ensure correct documentation.

Your profile as Global Trade and Customs Manager (m/f/d):

• Bachelor or Master in Law, International Trade, Business Administration or comparable field of study 
• Experience with international Customs and Export control processes and regulations
• Entrepreneurial thinking, team spirit and independent working style with strong communication skills 
• Digital mindset, analytical skills, quick comprehension and solution-oriented 
• Very good English skills
