We are looking for a new colleague in the Technology department at our location in Lommel in the Wind Power Business Unit.


•    Development of new drive train technologies for wind turbines with focus on rotor – shaft and bearing assembly
•    Preforming concept studies and transferring them into physical prototypes
•    Responsibility for the technical design
•    Member of a multi-cultural Research & Development team with interaction to suppliers, research partners as well as customers


•    Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
•    Professional experience in heavy duty drive train technologies preferably rotor – shaft and bearing assembly design for wind turbines   
•    Good knowledge in the calculation of structural components and experience in numerical calculation tools
•    Creative mindset with a CAN DO attitude who takes initiatives and is dedicated to realize the set goals within the team
•    Strong communication skills in English, Dutch and German is a plus
