Engineer - Bearing technology (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in the wind power department at our location in Lommel.


Your tasks as Engineer – Bearing technology (m/f/d):

  • Acting as sparring partner for all design challenges regarding bearing technology to internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsibility for technology projects and ensuring a profitable and in-time realization of new designs for wind-turbine gearboxes in close collaboration with colleagues from different departments like Project Management, Product Design, Purchasing and Process Engineering
  • Delivering competitive and reliable bearing solutions by designing test plans and evaluating test models
  • Retrieving input for new ideas regarding innovative technological solutions by talking to internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing and updating the know-how of roller bearing for ZF


Your profile as Engineer – Bearing technology (m/f/d):

  • Successfully completed technical studies (Bachelor/Master/Phd), e.g. in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant work experience in the field of bearing technology
  • Good knowledge in CAD, FEM and standard calculations
  • Flexibility, ability to think outside of the box, good communication skills, intercultural competence
  • Fluent English language skills, Dutch and German language skills are a plus, willingness to go on business trips occasionally
