Customer Quality Manager at ZF Wind Power (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in the Quality department at our location in Lommel or Antwerpen. 

 

ZF Wind Power puts wind energy in motion! The ZF Wind Power Business Unit is part of ZF group which is known as one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers. Within our unit we develop, validate and service gear units used in wind turbines producing sustainable energy and we have been doing this for more than 40 years! Today we build new drivetrain solutions to meet the requirements of the future. As wind turbines continue to grow, we are continuously pushed outside of our engineering boundaries, which makes it a challenging engineering environment to work in.

Your tasks:

  • Strong diplomatic communicator with excellent negotiation skills, persistent in coming to results
  • Develops a long-term strategic quality relationship with the external customer, driving the internal improvement plan to improve quality performance and the overall quality image.
  • Cross-border thinker, liaising with all stakeholder in the organization, building bridges between the departments and people to solve problems and eliminate potential quality risks.
  • Leads the organization to a standardized and lean customer quality approach, compliant to the all customer requirements, internal guidelines and APQP4Wind.
  • Continuously monitors the 8D problem solving process and activities, evaluating the potential risks and taking the lead to make the necessary adjustments.

 
Your profile:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Professional experience in the areas of quality, production or development. Practical experience in comparable tasks as well as good knowledge of the APQP(4Wind) and PPAP requirements
  • Experienced in communicating with external customers; handling customer expectations and dealing with customer complaints 
  • Project- and goal-oriented thinking and acting as well as assertiveness; Experience in working with international teams
  • Team player, ability to convince and influence, creative and fast learner
  • Fluent English (Dutch and German are a plus)
