We are looking for a new colleague in the Process Engineering department at our location in Lommel.
 
Your tasks as Automation Engineer (m/f/d): 

• As a member of the global process engineering team, you will be the key contact for automation projects
• You are responsible to develop our automation roadmap and set the standard in alignment with the relevant stakeholders
• As a project owner you are the responsible single point of contact to execute the roadmap ahead 
• A flawless launch in the designated plant, supporting on site is your true north
• You will take lead in defining opportunities for improvement from a business process point of view and drive them to implementation

Your profile as Automation Engineer (m/f/d):

• You have a degree in (electro-mechanical/automation) engineering plus solid knowledge of automation building blocks, weather it is robotics, vision, controllers or others
• You are methodical and uphold a clear, transparent and structured project management methodology
• Success is based on team consensus. Driving a project and a team proactively in a matrix organization is your second nature
• You are a strong communicator to all levels of the organization and with suppliers and integrators and can operate in a high level report out meeting as well as on the shop floor with operators and engineers getting things done
• You measure your success rate on metrics achieved
