JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform skilled duties in the build, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of Brake Electronics Control Units – PCBA and assemblies in the laboratory. The duties include electronics prototype build, analysis/troubleshooting and repair, soldering, quality inspection, electronics testing
Responsibilities
- Set up Brake electronic systems and devices
- Build, assemble and connect system components (e.g. cables)
- Build prototype based on technical guidelines
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Maintain and manage lab materials
- Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures
- Update reports and maintain inventory
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical tasks
- Use various tools to build and repair systems
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience as electronic technician or similar role
- Associates Degree
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing, repair, assembly build
- Familiarity working with various tools and equipment
- Excellent physical condition and hand-eye coordination
- An associate’s degree or apprenticeship as electronic technician
