We are looking for a new colleague to join ZF’s Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Team and operate in a hybrid work environment at our location based in Livonia, MI.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for regional implementation and maintenance of ZF’s corporate governance, risk and compliance (GRC) approach
- Regional GRC key contact for Corporate GRC functions or other GRC Function/Division/Region in accordance with integrated GRC approach throughout ZF
- Responsible for continuous monitoring of regional risk landscape and GRC activities to ensure regional alignment with all ZF GRC core function systems
- Maintain close alignment with Functions, Divisions and other Regions for adequate management of regional relevant risks to avoid redundancies or inconsistent activities
- Provide regular GRC reporting to Regional Top Management and further internal stakeholders
- Accountable for reporting to all GRC core function in line with corporate due dates to ensure completeness, accurateness, and timeliness
- Establish a regional GRC community and manage adequate access to SAP GRC and confidential GRC information
- Support Corporate Audit and facilitate individual audit engagement planning and audit execution in coordination with respective Division GRC Manager(s)
- Monitor/coordinate, report and escalate corporate audit follow-up activities to respective (top) management in collaboration with Corporate Audit
- Conduct, coordinate, and enable ICS related assessments in cooperation with Corporate Internal Control System
- Monitor/coordinate, report and escalate ICS test of effectiveness/self-assessment follow-up activities to respective (top) management in collaboration with Corporate Internal Control System
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 8 years of related experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance processes (i.e., Risk mgt., ICS mgt., Audit mgt., Compliance mgt., etc).
- A good overview and understanding of business/process landscape
- Proven skills to quantitatively assess impacts related to our financial management system
- Ability and motivation to acquire and understand new topics
- Foresight regarding delegation/risk or task ownership allocation (e.g., manage and assure)
- Good communication skills to be able to discuss with and report to respective management level (e.g., A-Com member, C-level, etc.)
- Appropriate standing/network within the Division/Domain/Region to be heard and drive GRC topics
- Ability to discuss and handle possible conflicts/escalations
