Financial Controlling Manager

We are looking for a new colleague in the Finance Department at our location in Livonia, Michigan.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the entire formal Forecast (FC) processes at the Divisional level – cross-functional calendar coordination, data submission, consolidation, analysis and communication to management/HQ.
  • Manage the monthly recurring process within the Division for forecasting of Sales and Profit (including data submission, consolidation and reporting) to support monthly updates to HQ.
  • Manage the process to analyze and explain monthly results/KPIs for the Division, including additional analysis as needed for reporting periods (half-year, year-end) and quarterly performance reviews with executive management.
  • Development of processes, participation in training of business unit/operating unit controllers and other finance staff, and providing support and answering questions in order for those staff to set, monitor and maintain their financial objectives.
  • Other main responsibilities of the group are rotated among group members: the process to prepare the operating plan and strategic plan, balance sheet reviews, cash flow forecasting/analysis, oversight of monthly data transmission (GL and supplementary data) to HQ, and project analysis.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related discipline. Advanced degree/MBA and/or CPA preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably 7-10 years, within finance in a large ($1b plus) manufacturing organization. Plant experience is a plus.
  • Strong financial systems (SAP, BCS consolidation, BO Analysis reporting) skills.
