We are looking for a new colleague in our Research and Development Department at our location in Livonia, MI!

 

The Active Safety Division of ZF North America offers application-specific solutions for a variety of different automotive steering and braking products. Continued growth in our Livonia, MI office has created an opportunity for an enthusiastic student to join our NVH Team supporting braking programs. 

 

Your Tasks:

  • Data Analysis: Post Processing historical test data.
  • NVH Testing Support: Setting up and running parts (IBC).
  • Help with building new test equipment.
  • Support testing and test development on new test stand.
  • Provide vehicle testing support.
  • Evaluate and solve technical issues in product development.
  • Generate reports as required. Interface and communicate with both internal and external customers on technical matters. 
  • Maintain appropriate engineering procedures throughout the product development process to achieve engineering deliverables which include cost, reliability and manufacturing objectives.
     

Your Profile:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent. Enrolled full-time at an accredited university majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills, must be computer literate utilizing data spreadsheets, and word processing, and have the ability to learn and use custom software
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Display personal maturity and a high level of professionalism
