We are looking for a new colleague in the Corporate Sales Department at our location in Livonia, MI.This role will manage assigned customer account to ensure customer satisfaction in the area of product, price, quality, service, and technology. This role will support Stellantis North America's Braking account. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee or act as the project manager to overall customer satisfaction.

  • Lead and motivate internal team members from other departments.

  • Understands assigned customers (processes/procedures, contacts, marketing, and quality, customer’s products and trends, and etc.).

  • Forecast existing business and develop plans to identify/pursue new business and implement those plans (Customer Strategies and Action Plans).

  • Identify new business opportunities, obtain RFQ’s, lead RFQ process, deliver RFQ response, follow-up with customers, and communicate status of new opportunity within ZF.

  • Aware of customer satisfaction metrics and issues (ZF's supplier scores, PPM’s, Rejects, Delivery Problems, and etc.).

  • Ensure all engineering changes made to products are correctly priced and submitted to the customer on a timely basis by utilizing the internal systems and procedures in place for communicating changes .

  • Meet with customers on a regular basis to review pricing and design changes submitted to ensure customer confirmation/approval of pricing.

  • Manage other areas of the account such as payments or follow-up on past due receivables. Negotiate with the customer as needed to resolve any open financial issues (could be freight, packaging, returned shipments for non-conforming goods). 

  • Communicates frequently with engineering, sales, cost estimators, customers, and managers to ensure current status relative to pricing, design, program issues, part issues, contract terms and conditions, and all other customer issues.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline 

  • 5+ years related work experience 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong negotiator and business acumen

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a Global organization, managing multiple projects and competing priorities

  • Strategic and analytical skills to develop efficient strategic orientation towards customers

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience 

  • Experience working with major Global OEMs, preferably with Stellantis

  • Experience with Chassis products: brakes, steering, axles, or etc.
