Materials Management Employee (m/f/d)

About the Team:

As a Materials Management Employee, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials, coordinating supply processes, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting smooth production operations.

What you can look forward to as Materials Management Employee?

• Receiving, checking, and recording incoming customer orders (call-offs), including their validation and subsequent processing
• Working with customer portals (e.g., OEM/Tier1 systems)
• Supporting production planning, including feasibility checks of customer orders
• Organizing transport based on specific customer instructions
• Creating and maintaining master data for sold materials in SAP
• Optimizing material flow planning during product changes

• Daily communication with customers regarding delivery schedules, order changes, and issue resolution
• Monitoring delivery performance (OTIF – On Time In Full) and ensuring compliance with customer logistics KPIs
• Handling customer complaints related to logistics or delivery issues and coordinating corrective actions
• Managing urgent orders, escalations, and recovery plans in case of supply disruptions
• Cooperation with internal departments (logistics, production, planning, quality) to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Supporting EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and troubleshooting data inconsistencies
• Tracking stock levels and coordinating with customers on inventory optimization (e.g., safety stock, consignment stock)
• Preparing reports and analyses for customers (delivery performance, backlog, forecast accuracy)

Your profile as Materials Management Employee:

• 3+ years solid working experience in Operations and relevant Functions
• Experience in Project Management
• Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• Transformation competence and organizational development skills
• Business / Finance Management Acumen
• Results/Process/Problem Solving - Oriented
• In Depth knowledge in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Production and Launch Readiness

Monthly wage from 1 880 € (including basic wage component *, premiums, bonuses). The salary depends on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
