About the Team:

Lead plant SCM/Logistics organization to reach required customer service-levels at lowest cost and highest possible inventory turns

What you can look forward to as Head of Plant Logistics?

• Develop/empower & qualify plant SCM/Logistics team to run plant logistics operations in planning and material handling according efficiency and customer centricity enriched by end-to-end/value stream responsibilities
• Implement Corporate and Division supply chain standards and support on developing future strategies and standards for entire process scope of SCM
• Optimize material flows and automate material handling processes to minimize manual effort
• Lead material planning for inbound/intra-plant/outbound material flows to ensure highest material availability and service-levels – ensure supply continuity
• Run Sales & Operations Planning for the plant leadership team to provide best demand visibility and avoid capacity/material shortages
• Optimize and execute production planning processes to ensure a demand-driven supply chain at lowest inventories
• Optimize Inventory performance along production units & value streams
• Steer transport execution & Support Optimization, performance mgt / claim handling according guideline
• Run operational customs organization plant

Your profile as Head of Plant Logistics:

• 5+ years solid working experience in Operations and relevant Functions
• 3+ years leadership experience incl. coaching/mentoring skills
• Experience in Project Management
• Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• Transformation competence and organizational development skills
• Coaching and Mentoring Skills
• Business / Finance Management Acumen
• Results/Process/Problem Solving - Oriented
• In Depth knowledge in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Production and Launch Readiness
