Field Service Training Support Specialist

We are looking for a new colleague in the Sales and Marketing department at our location in Lafayette, Indiana.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage Technical Support Line (Call Center) as needed.  Drive system and process efficiency improvements for the Call Center.
  • Conduct Service School Training in field for Dealer, Distributors, and Fleet customers.
  • Provide Technical Support to Regional Sales Team (special application questions, urgent part analysis, service issues, etc.)
  • Provide Field Test Support (Installation, Tracking, etc.).  Support demos as needed.
  • Act as Voice for Regional Sales Team into Warranty, Quality and Engineering Teams and Efforts.
  • Get involved in Field Onsite Service Diagnostics Support as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in engineering, sales or customer service role. Experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in training, technical support and problem resolution
  • Expert PC Skills and use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure and work effectively as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, accurately and on time.
  • Ability to travel frequently based on business needs (25-50%)
  • CDL or ability to obtain CDL is required
